FOREIGN PERSONNEL HIRED BY COMPANIES IN THE FILM INDUSTRY AND AUDIOVISUAL
Qualify for this permit foreigners who enter the country temporarily as trusted employees, producer, actor, or expert who invoke foreign companies under the Law No. 36 of 2007.
In addition to the requirements listed in Article 28 and except numbers 2 and 4 must provide documents such as:
- Submit a letter to the movie company responsible for containing the following: Position held by the applicant, type of service to be provided and time will remain in Panama.
- That payment comes from overseas.
- Registration Certificate National Film Industry, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, which indicated that the company and / or production meets the laws governing this matter.
- Proof of economic solvency of the company that hired him.
- You must make a payment of U.S. $ 100.00 for services pro-immigration National Immigration Service.

City of Knowledge Foundation
May apply for this permit foreigners who enter Panama as researchers, teachers, entrepreneurs, technicians and students, in order to contribute to the development of the project of the founding of the City of Knowledge.
AS RESEARCH FOUNDATION CITY OF KNOWLEDGE
For this permission except number 4 which consists of payments to the government. Other requirements if applicable.
- A certification of the City of Knowledge Foundation through its Executive Director, in which is stated the existence of the company, its work abroad and the time remaining in Panama.
- Provide letter of responsibility from the company stating the research activity and earn wages.
- Proof of affiliation to the Social Security Fund and a copy of the card.
NOTE: In the case of extending their permission, the applicant must submit the above requirements.
TEACHING AT THE CITY OF KNOWLEDGE
The requirements of Article 28 and paragraph 4 is excepted.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Certificate or document proving their suitability, issued in their country of origin and that credits as executive.
- Certification of the City of Knowledge Foundation through its Executive Director, in which the existence of the company, its work abroad and the time remaining in Panama.
- Letter of responsibility of the company stating Executive activity and wages to be earned.
- Proof of affiliation to the Social Security Fund and copy of social security card.
NOTE: if you want to extend your permission, the applicant must submit the above requirements.
AS TECHNICIAN of the City of Knowledge Foundation
The requirements of Article 28 and paragraph 4 is excepted.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Certification or document proving their suitability, issued in their country of origin and that credits as executive.
- Certification of the City of Knowledge Foundation through its Executive Director, which will check the existence of the company, its work abroad and time remain the country.
- Letter of responsibility of the company stating the work of the executive and the salary to be accrued.
- Proof of affiliation to the Social Security Fund and a copy of the card.
NOTE: For extension request, the applicant must submit the above requirements.
ENTREPRENEUR AS EXECUTIVE City of Knowledge Foundation
The requirements of Article 28 and paragraph 4 is excepted.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Certification or document proving their suitability, issued in their country of origin and accrediting him as an entrepreneur.
- Certification of the City of Knowledge Foundation through its Executive Director, which will check the existence of the company, its work abroad and time remain the country.
- Letter of responsibility of the company stating the employer’s activity
and salary to be accrued. - membership certificate to the Social Security Fund and copy of social security card.

AS STUDENT of the City of Knowledge Foundation
REQUIREMENTS:
- Certification of the City of Knowledge, in which is stated the existence of the school.
NOTE: if you are applying must provide credit extended study showing that a regular student and approved its previous year.
