Visas Panama Canal Authority and Panama Pacifico

FOREIGN PERSONS HIRED BY THE PANAMA CANAL AUTHORITY.

This permit may request the foreigners hired to work on the Panama Canal Authority.

This does not include government fees referred to in Article 28, but all other requirements if applicable.

Additionally you must provide:

• Submit a copy of the employment contract established by the ACP.
• Certification ACP Administrator to verify your status as an employee of the ACP.
• Provide a check to the national treasury in the amount of $ 100.00.

NOTE: To submit renewal or extension must provide certification of the social insurance fund attesting payment of dues paid nine consecutively.

Personnel hired by the Panama-Pacific Area

Apply foreign companies contracted by Special Economic Area Panama-Pacifico.

PERSONAL hired within the Panama-Pacific Area NOT exceed 15% of ordinary workers
This permit may request the foreigners who enter Panama hired as technical employees in matters pertaining to the administration within the 15% of ordinary workers and these are employed by companies located within the Panama – Pacific and operator or developer Agency.

All the requirements of Article 28 and in addition:

• Work permit card and copy
• Certificate issued by the agency Economic Panama – Pacific which certifies that the company is registered in the Panama-Pacific Area.
• Good standing certificate issued by Panama-Pacifico.
• Proof of affiliation to the social insurance fund and copy of passport.

NOTE: To extend the permit must submit nine shares Social Security payments to be paid consecutively.

Foreign personnel hired within the Panama PACIFIC IN EXCESS OF 10% OF THE ORDINARY Personal.

This permit may request the foreigners who enter Panama hired as technical employees in matters pertaining to the administrative management of less than 10 regular workers and these are employed by companies located within the Panama – Pacific and operator or developer Agency.

All the requirements of Article 28 and in addition:

• Work permit card and copy
• Certificate issued by the agency Economic Panama – Pacific which certifies that the company is registered in the Panama-Pacific Area.
• Good standing certificate issued by Panama-Pacifico.
• Proof of affiliation to the social insurance fund and copy of passport.

NOTE: To extend the permit shall provide nine shares Social Security payments.

Staff hired in positions of trust, EXECUTIVES EXPERTS AND / OR TECHNICAL IN BUSINESS IN EXPORT PROCESSING ZONES

Requirements:

• Certification issued by the Directorate of the Zone, which is confirmed by the company, promoter or operator of The Export Processing Zones or established companies within Zones.
• Certification of export zones proving the need for leave under study presented by the company.
• Letter of responsibility of the company, confirming the position and the services provided by the applicant, signed by its legal representative.
• Work permit card and copy of.
• Proof of affiliation to social security and passport copy.

NOTE: To apply for renewal the applicant must provide certification of the social insurance fund fees paid to confirm 9.

EXECUTIVE PERSONAL hired as international companies, whose functions have effects abroad

Apply to this permit aliens arriving to Panama, not permanently as executives or representatives in leadership positions of international foreign companies registered in the Public Registry of Panama with affiliates or representative offices in Panama, but is headquartered abroad.

Taking Article 28 which establishes common requirements are added:

• Certification of existence of the company in the country of origin or certificate issued by the Public Registry of Panama in verify that the company’s subsidiary or affiliate Panamanian mother.
• Bank document issued by a Panamanian bank or international for the person concerned, showing income over his salary and a copy of the statement.

Charter company you confirm the following:

• Position and functions of the applicant.
• Salary that can not be less than $ 1,000.00 per month and that it is not from Panamanian sources.
• You agree to notify the company goes out of business or the completion of the contractual relationship.
